Dr. Verin has completed his Ph.D at the age of 29 years from Moscow State University, Moscow Russia and postdoctoral studies from University of Indiana, School of Medicine. Currently he is a Professor of Vascular Biology and Medicine at Vascular Biology Center and Pulmonary Division at Georgia Regents University, Augusta, GA. He has published more than 135 papers in reputed journals and serving as an academic editor of Cardiology and Angiology and an editorial board member in several other journals in the field of pulmonary and cardiovascular research such as Cardiovascular Pharmacology, Journal of Multidisciplinary Pathology, Journal of Vascular Diagnostics, The Journal of Biopharmaceutics Sciences, Tissue Barriers, World Journal of Respirology. In addition, he served as editorial board member in American Journal of Physiology (Lung) from 2006 to 2011 and was a reviewer for a number of highly regarded journals (ex. Circulation Research, Critical Care Medicine, Physiological Reviews, PNAS).

Michael Provencher is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 10 plus years of clinical experience and now the Director of Pulmonary Medicine in which a progressive care model has been implemented focusing on the enhancement of quality care and the role of Respiratory Therapists in the care of patients with lung disease. Wassim H. Fares, MD MSc is a member of the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program within the section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine. Dr. Fares specializes in evaluation and management of the different stages of Pulmonary Hypertension. He is also specialized in Critical Care Medicine. His clinical and research focuses are pulmonary vascular disease, acute lung injury, heart–lung interactions, and ultrasound use in the ICU.

Peisong Gao, M.D., Ph.D. is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Gao received his MD degree and pulmonary medicine training in The Fourth Military Medical University, China. From July 1997 to January 1999, he was a visiting research fellow in Oxford University. He subsequently moved to the University of Wales Swansea, pursuing a Ph.D. working in molecular genetics of asthma. In 2002, Dr. Gao became a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Allergy & Clinical Immunology at Johns Hopkins. In 2008, Dr. Gao was promoted to Assistant Professor. Dr. Gao\'s research has been greatly recognized by several awards, including the 2004 Research Excellence Award, the 2007 Interest Section Award, and Outstanding Pediatric Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Award from AAAAI. Dr. Gao’s studies mainly focus on gene, environment, and development of asthma. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals.

Camille Lowman has been the Director of Clinical Education, and Tenured Professor, for Tacoma Community College’s Respiratory Care Program since 2007. Prior to accepting the position at TCC, Camille spent 28 years as a staff respiratory therapist in acute care performing mostly critical care respiratory care in adult medicine, pediatrics and neontal. She served on a neonatal air/ground transport team for 2 years, and on a Pediatric Critical Care Ground Transport Team for 6 years. She established and managed a Sleep Medicine Center, managed the Respiratory Diagnostics Department and Nutrition Deparment in a hospital for 6 years. She received her Respiratory Therapy Degree from Tacoma Community College in 1985 and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University in 2009. She is now pursuing a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University in Illinois.

Fernando Guedes is a medical doctor, specialist in Pulmonology and Intensive Care Medicine. He works in CHP/Hospital Geral de S. António, as director of Bronchology Unit and where, in 2013, he funded the Pediatric Bronchoscopy. Since 2010 he is Instructor of Bronchology of European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. His clinical activity also relies on Sleep Apnea, invasive and non invasive ventilation and COPD. In 2012 he starts his PhD, work focused in pulmonary oncology. In his academic activity, he works as invited professor of Pulmonology and Pathology in Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar Medical School of Oporto University. Hasleton P S is Honorary Professor of Pulmonary Pathology, University of Manchester and Visiting Professor of Pathology, Hadassah Medical School, Jerusalem. He served on the MRC and the Core WHO working group- producing the new "blue book" on histological diagnosis of lung tumours, 1997 and 2004. He contributed to the revised WHO book on histological diagnosis of lung tumours (2015). He was a member of the International Working Party on Mesothelioma. He was awarded the Mary Matthews Lifetime achievement award, IASLC (International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer – June 2012 and a lifetime achievement award, Pulmonary Pathology Society (of the United States) – August 2012. He wrote over 200 papers, editorial reviews and 42 book chapters. He was sole editor of Spencer's Pathology of the Lung, McGraw-Hill, 1996. The rewritten 6th edition, co-edited with Dr. Flieder was published by Cambridge University Press (2013).

Dr. Umapathy Nagavedi Siddaramappa has completed his Ph.D at the age of 26 years from Bangalore University and postdoctoral studies from Georgia Regents University (Augusta GA, United States). He is the Assistant Professor of Medicine-Sickle Cell Disease and Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at the Georgia Regents University. He has published more than 25 peer reviewed papers in reputed journals, received prestigious American Lung Association grant. He is also serving as an editorial board member of Frontier journal and Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research. He participates in the training of pulmonary fellows in bench research and the STAR students and medical students.

Navneet Dhillon completed her Ph.D in 2003 from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, in India and her postdoctoral studies from University of Kansas Medical Center, KS. Now she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at KUMC. Her research is focused on unraveling the molecular mechanisms involved in HIV and drugs of abuse mediated cardio pulmonary dysfunction and is currently funded by American Heart Association and NIH grants. She has published 34 papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and has been on various NIH and AHA study sections as an ad-hoc reviewer. She is also on editorial board of various reputed journals.

Dr. D.Nagasamy Venkatesh is Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy, Udhagamandalam. India. His research is also involved in developing sustained/controlled drug delivery systems for certain drugs and analytical and bio-analytical method development for drugs.
