Biography
Dr. Umapathy Nagavedi Siddaramappa has completed his Ph.D at the age of 26 years from Bangalore University and postdoctoral studies from Georgia Regents University (Augusta GA, United States). He is the Assistant Professor of Medicine-Sickle Cell Disease and Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at the Georgia Regents University. He has published more than 25 peer reviewed papers in reputed journals, received prestigious American Lung Association grant. He is also serving as an editorial board member of Frontier journal and Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research. He participates in the training of pulmonary fellows in bench research and the STAR students and medical students.
